By creating an account, downloading, accessing, or using Taxblabla in any capacity ("the Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of our Service. Your continued use of the Service constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms as they may be amended from time to time.

Ownership Notice: Taxblabla is owned and managed by NAIJATAXBUDDY NIG LTD.

Taxblabla is a private utility service and does not represent a government entity. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, or an official representative of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), any State Internal Revenue Service, or the Nigerian Government.

2. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER – ESTIMATES ONLY

⚠️ TAXBLABLA PROVIDES TAX ESTIMATION TOOLS ONLY.

  • We do NOT provide actual tax calculations, tax advice, legal advice, financial advice, or accounting services of any kind.
  • All figures, projections, summaries, and breakdowns shown are ESTIMATES based on information you provide and should be used for INFORMATIONAL AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY.
  • Our estimates may NOT reflect your actual tax liability, and may differ materially from amounts determined by the relevant authorities. ONLY the relevant tax authorities (Nigeria Revenue Service, State Internal Revenue Services) can determine your final tax amounts.
  • We are NOT registered tax consultants, chartered accountants, certified financial advisors, or legal advisors. For professional tax advice, consult a QUALIFIED TAX PROFESSIONAL.
  • You should NEVER rely solely on our estimates for filing taxes, making financial decisions, or taking any action with legal or financial consequences.
  • The Service does NOT constitute a professional-client relationship of any nature between you and Taxblabla.

3. No Liability for Accuracy

While we strive to provide useful estimates based on current Nigerian tax laws, WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS, OR GUARANTEES — whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness, or suitability of any information, calculation, estimate, or content provided through the Service.

Nigerian tax laws, regulations, guidelines, and interpretive rulings may change at any time without notice. While we endeavor to update our calculations promptly, there may be delays, omissions, or errors. You are solely responsible for verifying all current tax requirements with official government sources and qualified professionals.

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE NIGERIAN AND INTERNATIONAL LAW:

  • NAIJATAXBUDDY NIG LTD, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and licensors shall NOT be liable for any penalties, interest, fines, additional taxes, assessments, or any other costs or expenses you may incur if our estimates differ from your actual tax liability.
  • We shall NOT be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or economic damages arising from or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.
  • We are NOT responsible for any decisions, actions, or inactions you undertake based on information, estimates, or content from our Service.
  • Our aggregate total liability for all claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall NOT exceed the lesser of: (a) the amount you paid for our services in the preceding 12 months, or (b) ₦10,000.
  • This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, breach of warranty, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

5. Indemnification

You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NAIJATAXBUDDY NIG LTD, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debts, and expenses (including but not limited to reasonable legal fees and court costs) arising from or related to:
